EVESHAM Rugby Club’s under 17s recorded an impressive 36-7 home win against their Kidderminster counterparts.
The visitors were strong, fast and well organised – Evesham’s defence was sorely tested for the whole of the first half.
But their scrum held firm and they were dominant in the line out.
Eventually Will Farrell went over for the first, Gio Capaldi converting and then Jack Richardson for the second.
On the stroke of half-time, Kidderminster scored their only try.
The second-half was a different game with the Avonsiders’ backs cutting loose with slick passing and strong running.
With two tries apiece George Guy and man-ofthe- match Lewis Woodford sealed the visitors’ fate, Capaldi converting two of them.
