MEMBERS of Arden Sailing Club (Defford) took part in four races at their latest meeting.

Jane Smee won the ladies race in a comet, before joining Niall Campbell in their enterprise to finish second in the pursuit handicap race behind Stuart and Caroline Stephen. Malcolm Colledge took a well-earned third.

Campbell and Smee then turned the tables on the Stephens to win the enterprise race, before the seventh race in the series for the Comet and Commodore’s Cup was won by Keith Stevens from Colledge.

Anyone interested in taking up dingy sailing can go to the club for one of their Sunday afternoon sessions.
