STEPH Lane was the pick of the Bourton Roadrunners competitors with a dominant display at the Fairford 10k.
Lane won the senior ladies' race in a time of 41.20 on Sunday with a host of other strong performances from club members.
Tim Carter continued his good form to finish 6th overall and 2nd senior man in a time of 35:17, while Connor Shoemark marked his comeback to club running with a creditable10th place in a time of 36.32 that was enough to scoop fifth senior man.
Despite challenging heat, 13 Bourton Roadrunners took on the hilly course with some great results.
Darren Long (40:46), Niamh Shoemark (43:17), Diana Dee (45:08), Jenni Glass (50:05), and Chris Lomax (50:24), Ellie Piercy (50:38), Chris Dry (53:23), Liz Hulcup (55:21), Ian Tolfs (55:51), Linda Edwards (58:06) each came out with credit.
Bourton Roadrunners will host its popular half marathon on Saturday, June 16 (6pm).
