JUNIOR member Bradley Smith will fly the flag for Pershore Tennis Centre at Wimbledon after reaching the final three of the Lawn Tennis Association’s young volunteer of the year.
Smith scooped the Junior Volunteer of the Year award at the Hereford & Worcester County Awards banquet in October 2017, which was attended by all of the major tennis clubs in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
He was presented with his award by Richard Herriman, president of Hereford and Worcestershire Lawn Tennis Association, and then went on to claim the regional prize.
Bradley is now looking forward to attending the official ceremony when the world's most-renowned tennis championships take place at Wimbledon on July 3.
The club was also honoured when receiving the Highly Commended Club of the Year award and boasts gongs for coach of the year and disability programme of the year.
