OVERBURY ladies won 82-52 at Droitwich as a damp, heavy green worked in their favour.
They established a commanding lead after the first five ends and won on all four rinks.
Captain Gill Pearce said: "It was a great start to the season and an excellent start by Mary Skinner, one of our new members who was playing in her first Concorde League match."
Following a successful 2017 bowling for Worcestershire in the Midland Counties League, Overbury's Dan Mason and Neil Williams retained their places for the first match of 2018.
They both played in the number two position on their rinks against Lincolnshire at Long Bennington as the county won by 14 shots.
