CHILDSWICKHAM Gun Club held their monthly sporting shoot remembering much-missed former member Chris Vale.
Members and guests were faced with a tricky layout of 40 English sporting targets.
Shooting in the usual two-squad format, the layout was tackled with varying levels of success.
Deserved high gun of the day five clays clear of the field was club chairman David Galbraith with a well-shot 31/40.
A three-way split in second were stalwart Ian Holmes, Richard Taylor and new member Mike Walton with 26/40.
Club regular Phil Taylor held joint third with guests Phil Ellison and Barry Ullman on 24/40.
With time to spare, a charity pool shoot was set up with several posting reasonable scores.
A sudden-death drop-out system was employed with the eventual spoils going to Mark Knight.
The next shoot will be the MSS (Mediterranean Shooting Supplies) all rounders cup part two on Sunday, April 29.
