COTSWOLD trainer Fergal O'Brien will be among the speakers at the Alan Lee Foundation launch event.

The charity is being set up to support young men and women to achieve their sporting ambitions.

Lee was an award-winning British sports writer and author who died in December 2015.

To launch the foundation, his family are organising a Grand National preview dinner on Friday, April 6, at Stratford Racecourse.

Naunton-based O'Brien will be joined by horse racing journalist Cornelius Lysaght among others.
