Golf: Bev and Chris win Broadway ladies' winter league fourth round
BROADWAY Golf Club's ladies completed their winter league fourth round in an icy wind.
Twenty pairs tackled the foursomes challenge with Bev Howard and Chris Saunders scoring 16 points over nine holes to win.
Angela Sollis and Diana Chambers were edged down to second on countback with Chris Parkinson and Sonia Ward third on 15.
Ladies' captain Maggie McDivitt and Brenda Corfield were fourth on 14.
The round five of greensomes is in early February.
