PERSHORE Town’s wait for a win goes on despite a valiant effort in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw at Paget Rangers.
Town seemed set to bounce back from Saturday’s triple red-card woe but conceded a penalty nine minutes from time.
Charlie Anagho-Ntamark opened his Pershore account with a close-range finish from Steve Webb’s free-kick five minutes in.
The visitors spent much of the first half on the front foot but lost their lead just before the interval when Dan Cullen netted for Paget from a corner.
Town kept plugging away and a break from Tez Morton dropped kindly for Webb to fire them back in front on the hour.
However, Dean Morris rattled in from 12 yards late on to leave third-botttom Pershore with a 14-match winless run going into Saturday’s trip to Chelmsley Town (3pm).
