PERSHORE slipped into the bottom half of the Birmingham and District League Division Two table after a 47-run defeat against Sutton Coldfield.
Pershore’s Matt Brace snapped up 4-31 but skipper Lee Thomason top scored for the home side who reached 165 all out in their 55 overs.
In reply, Pershore struggled with the bat and only Adam Wiffen (25) made a significant contribution for the Worcestershire club who were skittled out for 118.
James Lunn (6-24) and Steven Howard (4-40) shared the wickets for Coldfield, who move into the top half of the table.
