PAUL Beasley kept his nerve in a thrilling three-man play-off to win a captivating men’s championship at The Vale Golf Club.

Beasley saw off rivals Lee Juliff and Pete Turner to claim the title after an thrilling 36-holes battle over two days.

Rich Young topped the nett competition with a return of 138 and one of the lowest scores returned in the championship.
