TEENAGE driver Catherine Harris has clinched the National Ministox title.
The 15-year-old Shipston High School pupil clinched the British title at Owlerton Stadium in Sheffield.
Harris has been racing in the full contact junior formula since she was 10 and this is her biggest success so far.
Haris held her nerve to take the victory on a tricky, shale track after a heavy downpour of rain.
This is Harris’ final year in the junior formula competition because the promising driver turns 16 years old in January.
Harris will then progress into the Brisca V8 Hotstox.
Harris comes from a racing family. Her dad Mick raced Brisca F1 Stockcars and her older brothers Tom and Carl also compete.
The teenage ace is hoping to make leaps into the league of Brisca F1 and follow in her dad’s and brothers’ footsteps.
