EVESHAM ladies played for the Nora Olsen Cup in pleasant weather for a January day.
Twelve pairs tackled the foursomes with Marlene Billings and Pat Saville scoring 23 over 13 holes to win.
Margaret Williams and Dinah Wood were edged down to second on countback.
The day continued with the ladies’ annual general meeting.
Meanwhile, Broadway ladies competed in their popular three-ball waltz competitions.
The winning trio were Frances Friend, Fran Andrews and Barb Buggin with 63 points.
Earning a close second were Chris Saunders, Judith Noyce and Angela Sollis with 61 ahead of Valerie Steven, Sonia Ward and Sheila Lawson with 59.
Ladies’ captain Maggie McDivitt, Irene Hawkes and Jude Vidler also got 59 but were fourth on countback.
