FC Wickhamford are enjoying a successful second season in the Stratford Alliance after bagging more silverware.

They beat Henley Forest 4-2 in the Aquaid Division One Knockout Cup final at Littleton with Ben Hoskin bagging a hat-trick.

Club captain Louis Brown was also on target.

After forming in 2016, Wickhamford won Division Two to gain promotion and the Knockout Cup at that level.

Wickhamford chairman Josh Greaves said: "I knew it would be difficult to reach the heights of our debut season but as a club we have enjoyed a successful second season in the Alliance by winning the cup.

"With continued support from coaches Nigel Milward and Nigel Hurman and the backing from Wickhamford Sports and Social Club, we have grown stronger and certainly plan to mount a serious title challenge next season as we hunt for further trophies."

Wickhamford, who are sixth in Division One, play in the RM Smith Cup semi-final tonight (Thursday) at Inkberrow Reserves.
