LITTLETON bounced back from a weekend defeat with a 3-1 home win over Paget Rangers in Midland Football League Division One last night.

They hit back from 1-0 down with a brace from Dan Carter and substitute Connor Perry-Holmes' late goal.

The tiring Ton Boys had suffered a ninth 1-0 defeat of the season on Saturday when Brocton left Five Acres with maximum points.

The hosts twice hit the woodwork and were the more enterprising team throughout but found themselves stifled.

Brocton’s sting in the tail arrived five minutes from time when Rory Burns converted from close range.

Eighth-placed Littleton’s hectic finish to the league season continues with a home clash against Hinckley AFC on Thursday (7.45pm) and a trip to Uttoxeter Town on Saturday (3pm).

That is followed by two matches in as many nights next week, hosting Racing Club Warwick on Wednesday and travelling to Bolehall Swifts next Thursday (both 7.45pm).
