BRETFORTON Old Boys continued their pursuit of a quadruple by lifting the Evesham Mechanical Services Knockout Cup.

A bumper crowd made its way to Evesham United's Jubilee Stadium headquarters for the showpiece that saw Bretforton claim a 1-0 victory over New Inn Pershore thanks to a Jamie Clarke goal 27 minutes in.

New Inn enjoyed a much better second half during which they hit the woodwork but could not gain an all-important breakthrough.

The triumph saw the Old Boys add to their Evesham Sunday League crown ahead of two more cup finals, the first being in the Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup against Evesham Working Men's Club at Bromsgrove Sporting's Victoria Ground headquarters on Sunday (6pm).

Offenham Rovers signed off their league campaign with a 3-2 victory at Evesham WMC.

Alex Trinder (2) and Nick Burrows scored for Rovers, while James White and James Bearcroft netted for the Workies. The result means Stour Excelsior finish as runners-up in Division One.

Broadway United reserves moved within one victory of clinching a promotion place in Division Two by beating Charlton Fladbury 3-1 thanks to goals from James Heritage (2) and Craig Burtenshaw.

Bretforton Old Boys reserves remain second following a comfortable 5-1 win at Fortis.

Simon Brain (2), Ben Greenwood, Ian Unwin and Ashley Booth got on the score sheet to keep TDMS Harvington third with a game in hand.

TDMS upstaged their rivals with a 6-0 win at Badsey Recreation. Jack Philpot was the hat-trick hero while Luke Woodfield and Jack Hollins were also on target.

An Alan Parry double earned Sun Inn the points in a 2-1 win at Bredon with Anthony Washbourne replying. Alderton saw their promotion hopes disappear with a 2-1 home defeat to Cropthorne.

Pebworth stayed top of the three-way battle for promotion in Division Three after a 3-1 success over Ashton 88. Second-half goals from Paul Skinner, Tom Benfield and Dave Jeffrey means victory in their final game will guarantee promotion.

Victory in their final two matches would see TDMS Evesham lift the title after an 8-1 walloping of Bengeworth.

Ben Cole (2), Luke Phipps (2), Robbie Patching (2), Ryan Upson and Jack Howard-Nailor scored the goals.

Ambi Allsports currently sit second but have completed their games. Aidan Booth (2) and Steve Bullock scored in a 3-2 win at Stratford HGC. Dragons won 3-0 at Fairfield Titans and Alcester Town edged out Stour Excelsior reserves 4-3.
