CROPTHORNE has reached the Worcestershire FA Sunday Minor Cup final with an impressive 2-1 win at much-fancied Bromsgrove Academicals.

Aron Letterese and Neil Taylor scored for the village team who put aside their poor league form to reach the showpiece.

Bretforton Old Boys kept up their quadruple hopes reaching the last four of the WFA Sunday Junior Cup with a resounding 13-0 win against Warndon Villages.

Sean Brain racked up a double hat-trick with Sam Beddoes walloping home four and Adrian Witts, Steven Edghill and Ryan Reeves also on the score sheet.

Elsewhere, Broadway United lost 2-0 to CBH Fasteners.

Holders Offenham Rovers progressed to the semi-finals of the Mick Godwin Cup with a comfortable 4-1 win over TDMS Harvington thanks to Jason Cresswell, Jake Andrews, Charlie Szymanski and Radu Nicolaita. Badsey Recreation beat Charlton Fladbury 2-1.

At the wrong end of Evesham Sunday League Division One, Mickleton Rangers took a big step towards survival with a 5-2 victory at Tewkesbury Town.

New Inn Pershore picked up a much needed three points, coming from behind to defeat Stour Excelsior 2-1. An Edward Casewell goal gave Stour the lead before goals from Kyle Ballard and Joel Ballard turned around the game.

The top two played out a 1-1 draw in Division Two with honours shared between Alderton and Broadway Unites reserves. Liam Pennell scored for Alderton with Jack Steele on the score sheet for Broadway.

Bretforton Old Boys reserves closed the gap on the leaders with a 6-0 win at Bredon.

Ashleigh Booth (2), Simon Brain, Mike Jennings, Henry Woods and Tim Beattie each scored. Sun Inn won 3-1 at Fortis with goals from Simon Prince, Edd Major and Jordan O’Brien.

Pebworth opened up a five-point lead at the top of Division Three following a 2-0 win at Fairfield Titans thanks to Dave Jeffreys and Dan Chapman.

Stour Excelsior lost 7-4 at home to Strawberry Field United despite goals from Sam Johnson, Paul Jewett, Tom Grace and Tobias Kemp.

Ashton 88 have moved into second place following a 5-1 victory at Ambi Allsports as Keirin James (2), Graham Begley, Will Stevens and Sam Craze struck.

Alcester Town defeated Bengeworth 2-1, while Dragons drew 3-3 with TDMS Evesham. Adam Hinchcliffe (2) and Brett Danby scored for Dragons, Will McGarr (2) and Shaun Henley replied for TDMS.
