SCROOGE-like defending ensured Littleton claimed maximum points over Christmas with a third straight win and clean sheet in 11 days.
The Ton Boys turned over high-flying Studley 2-0 in Midland League Division One on Boxing Day thanks to goals from captain Joe Adams, formerly with the Bees, and substitute Dan Byford.
It stretched Littleton’s unbeaten run in all competitions to 11 matches following Saturday’s 6-0 thumping of basement boys Coventry Alvis.
Littleton had to wait until the 58th minute for the breakthrough which arrived in emphatic fashion as Jordan Jones rasped in off the underside of the crossbar from 30 yards.
Jamie Clarke then notched from a Shay Palmer centre with Clarke then turning provider for top scorer Dan Carter to make it three.
Carter grabbed his second from Palmer’s delivery nine minutes from time with Michael Wright and Clarke each tucking in rebounds from parried shots to add gloss to the score late on.
Seventh-placed Littleton visit Cadbury Athletic on Saturday.
