BRETFORTON Old Boys lifted the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup after a 1-0 triumph against Evesham WMC.
The match was marred by a late injury to Evesham centre-back Sam Penfold who suffered two dislocated ribs.
In a closely fought final, well refereed by Paul Sparrow, Bretforton edged their closest rivals with a fine solo goal in the second period from Will Gayton.
The final act of the game saw Evesham’s Penfold fall awkwardly on to his back which led to an ambulance being called.
The Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League season concluded with New Inn Pershore coming from two goals down at the interval to defeat Offenham Rovers 3-2 and secure the Division Two title.
Lee Miller’s double and a Kyle Ballard goal denied Rovers a double, having lifted the Express-Funding Mick Godwin Cup the previous week with a two-goal win over Cropthorne.
Division Three champions Broadway United Reserves comfortably defeated runners up Bretforton Old Boys Reserves 6-2.
Hicks, Cooper, Goodall, Taylor, Burtenshaw and Berryman netted for Broadway with Old Boys replying from Jones and Marshall.
Stratford United closed with a 5-2 victory at Bengeworth with Waldron and Grinnell both netting twice. Pebworth and Evesham United Sunday shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw, with Smaylen scoring for Pebworth.
