TWO Giles Elliott goals gave AC Olympia a 2-0 victory over Lenches Lions in the Bluck Cup final.
The match, at Bretforton, brought the curtain down on the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League campaign and was AC Olympia’s third success of the season after lifting the Division Three title and Gloucestershire FA Sunday Minor Cup.
The decisive period came shortly after the interval when two goals in three minutes from Elliott put AC Olympia in command and Lenches Lions were unable to get back into the game.
The Bishops Cleeve team will be going for a fourth trophy in the Pershore Hospital Minor Cup where their opponents in the final will be either Alderton or Bear.
Red Horse finished the season empty handed, losing their third final with defeat to Black Bear in the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup, Jake Petitt hitting five goals for the Tewkesbury side.
Four days earlier, Red Horse had defeated Black Bear, a result which saw Bretforton Old Boys crowned Division One champions.
