DRAGONS pulled off a huge upset in defeating TDMS Harvington 2-1 to reach the Evesham Hospital Sunday Minor Cup final.

The Division Three outfit defended resolutely throughout and took chances when they came with a double from Shahem Ahmed. Harvington scored through Jay Bunn.

Dragons will now face Broadway United reserves who defeated Badsey Recreation 2-0 thanks to goals from Will Aspey and Jamie Heritage.

Stratford HGC also caused an upset in the Bluck Cup by defeating Alderton on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Division One champions Bretforton Old Boys lost for the second week running, losing 3-1 at home to Inkberrow.

Will Gayton was on the score sheet for Old Boys with the visitors registering goals through Alex Bullock, Kieron Sheen and Josh Walker.

Stour Excelsior completed their season with a whopping 5-2 victory over Broadway United.

The Shipston side scored through James Drinkwater (2), Alex Seys, Robbie Shurmer and Tom Coles.

Evesham WMC could still clinch the runners-up spot following a 4-2 victory at Mickleton Rangers.

Elliott Grady (2), Sam Ford and James White scored for the Workies, Jack Sexton and Peter Robinson responded for Rangers.

Elsewhere, Tewkesbury Town and New Inn Pershore completed their league programme in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

In Division Two, Bredon picked up their first points of the season as a Phillip Shepherd goal proved enough for a hard-fought 1-0 triumph over Charlton Fladbury.

Bretforton Old Boys reserves kept up their title hopes with a 2-0 win over Cropthorne courtesy of strikes from Sonny Camm and Luke Richardson.

Sun Inn defeated Fortis 5-4 in a high-scoring encounter. The Winchcombe team’s goals came from Harlie Price (3), Ed Major and Jordan O’Brien.

Pebworth took a huge step towards promotion from Division Three with a 3-2 victory at Strawberry Field United.

Adam Keen, Tom Benfield and Dave Jeffries scored for Pebworth with Kieran Downey and Dan Booker notching for the home team.

Second-placed Ashton 88 were held to a 2-2 draw at home to TDMS Evesham.

Graham Begley and Adam Jenkins scored to give Ashton a two-goal lead but TDMS hit back with goals from Will McGarr and Josh Rogers.

Ambi Allsports moved into promotion contention with a 3-0 win over Alcester Town as Gary Dyke, Aidan Booth and Scott McKenna scored.

Stour Excelsior reserves won 2-1 at Bengeworth.
