LITTLETON has secured the signature of Great Britain Deaf Football international Jamie Clarke.

The striker featured for Pershore Town before linking up with Midland Football League Division Three outfit Alcester Town in order to play alongside his friends.

However, the lure of higher-level football proved too much with Ton Boys boss John Edwards more than happy to accommodate the ex-Studley hitman.

“He is a good player who we have known about for a while,” said Edwards. “He left Pershore to go to Alcester to play alongside his mates but contacted us about signing.

“Alcester were good enough to waive the seven-day notice period and it was a great coup for us.”

“The squad is pretty much complete now," added Edwards. "We are still looking for one or two lads to add quality but it does not matter too much, I can swap and change and feel confident in the strength of the team.

"That was what we were aiming for when we started to build the squad."
