SKIPPER Hemaka Pathiranage took 5-36 as Worcester side Old Elizabethans romped to a 67-run win over Whitchurch in Birmingham Cricket League Division Three.

Jamie Boyle (44) steered OEs to 155 all out in 37.5 overs before Whitchurch were shot out for 88 in reply.

Daniel Bowen took 5-47 for the Shropshire visitors at the Memorial Ground and Sam Ellis top scored with 35.

Redditch beat Newport by 25 runs with Waqas Ali taking 6-36.

They struggled against tight bowling and suffered three run-outs but 36 from Timothy Fitch saw Redditch to 167 all out.

When Simon Douglas (80) was out at 133-7 to Waqas, Newport collapsed to 142 all out with Ghulam Moyhuddin taking 3-26.

Ombersley crashed by 172 runs at Premier Division high-fliers Knowle and Dorridge.

An opening partnership of 139 between George Worker (86) and Alex Phillips (59) paved the way for 46 from 25 balls from Tom Smith which took Knowle to an imposing 288-7.

Gareth Andrew (4-45) was again the form bowler for Ombersley who collapsed to 116 all out after tea as Jack Grundy (4-31) and Chris Cheslin (4-40) did much of the damage.

Second-from-bottom Barnt Green were thrashed by 10 wickets by another high-flier in Smethwick despite opener Jamie Harrison's 61 and 44 from Ethan Holmes.

Kidderminster took over from Tamworth at the top of Division One after beating them by six wickets.

Tamworth crumbled to 102 all out at Chester Road to seamers Connor Smith (5-48) and Barney Morgan (3-23).

Andrew Kimberlin hit 44 in the reply as the victory target was achieved for the loss of four wickets.

Brockhampton moved above Wellington at the bottom after they defeated their visitors by five wickets on dismissing the Shropshire outfit for just 49.

All 10 wickets were shared by the opening attack of Jamie McIlroy (7-19) and Toby Abernethy (3-23).

Brockhampton looked to be in a spot of bother at 31-5 but an unbeaten 21 from Chris Powell saw them to victory.

In a low-scoring game at Malvern's North End Lane, Halesowen defeated Barnards Green by eight wickets after dismissing their hosts for 88.

The top scorer for Green was extras with 34 after Charlie Hartley took 5-29 and Mashariaf Shazad 4-1.

An unbeaten 57 from 54 balls by Ed Kilbee eased Halesowen to an easy win.

A dramatic finish at St Godwald’s Park saw Bromsgrove clinch a 21-run win over Oswestry from the penultimate ball.

Deon Patel hit 95 in Bromsgrove's 239 in 53.5 overs which handed an extra over to Oswestry.

The visitors were well placed through an unbeaten 94 from Roman Walker but Alex Wilkinson (3-56) nipped in to finish Oswestry off after Ashley Newfield took 3-52.

The Division Two match between Pershore and C&R Hawks ended in a draw after home skipper Chris Ridings was unbeaten on 122 in his side’s 251-5 from 55 overs.

His innings included nine boundaries and four sixes from 136 balls.

In reply, Hawks finished on 222-8 after Kabir Ali (74) and Mubeen Rashid (47) took them from 46-3 to 129-4.

The best Pershore bowler was George Kirby with 3-44.

Another century-maker was Astwood Bank skipper Steve Adshead who rattled 110 from 97 balls in their 42-run win over Wombourne.

Tom Underhill hit 41 for Bank who were all out for 219 in 47 overs.

Wombourne were 177 all out in reply with Dan Taylor taking 4-14.
