A DISAPPOINTING batting display saw Evesham lose at home to struggling Pedmore in Worcestershire League Division One.
Adnan Sagheer (3-43) and Sadam Khan (3-21) took three wickets each as Evesham bowled Pedmore out for 122.
After losing Ali Asghar (0), Ali Shan (3) and Nasir Mehmood (10) early, Johnson Lourdhusamy tried to get his side back on track.
But Lourdhusamy went for 39 and none of the other batsmen could reach double figure as Pedmore skittled Evesham for 114 in 22.2 overs to register their first win.
Sixth-placed Evesham visit Stourport on Saturday (1pm).
In Division Two, Bredon claimed seven points from a losing draw at Coombs Wood thanks to a dogged innings from Tim Fenney.
Bredon’s Richard Bruce took 4-70 and Martin Hill 3-45 as the hosts went from 115-1 to 203 all out.
Coombs Wood put Bredon under pressure but Fenney’s 71 and contributions James Munro (26) and Bruce (27) secured their side a draw, finishing on 188-9.
Bredon host Enville on Saturday (1pm).
