Evesham and District Disabled AC
MEMBERS again met at Jim's for another round in the Summer Evening League where the winner after three hours was Mick Leeming with 25-6-0.
He was closely followed by Ron Williams (25-4-0), Dave Beasley (11-8-0) and Antony Icke (10-10-0).
Other weights: Bill Scarrott 9-12-0; Cyril Thompson 7-10-0; Bob Southall 7.10.0; Russell Davis 6-12-0; Ray Woods 4-4-0.
The day started well and stayed that way for the five-hour match at Oakham Farm Pools, Loxley.
The winner was new member Pete Willis with 43-0-0 of mainly carp. Hot on his heels was Steve Smith with 42-0-0, third was Icke with 30-4-0 with Southall fourth (25-4-0).
Other weights: Ron Williams 17-4-0; Clive Leeming 16-8-0; W Scarrott 15-8-0; Mick Leeming 14-8-0; R Woods 3-8-0.
The next Matches are tonight at Manor Farm between 6 and 9pm and on Sunday at Jim's.
Members are reminded that this year's barbecue is on Saturday at Bill's in Ashton-under-Hill.
Evesham WMC
THE match on the pool at Drakes Broughton was won by Mick Brooks who had one carp and a few small perch for 5.2.0.
Rick Huxley was only just behind after netting one carp and a few small fish for 5.1.8 while Stuart Robinson had small perch and roach for 2.12.0.
The match on the river at Cleeve Prior proved very hard with a few dry nets but Vic Woods had perch and two eels for 4.2.8.
Dean Peters had two small chub for 1.0.0. and Mick Reeve had a chub for 0.12.0.
The next match is at Drakes Broughton, draw 7.30am.

Evesham Jubilee Society
THE members' match at Bewdley was transferred to the Worcester Canal at Perdiswell last Sunday. Despite heavy boat traffic, Tim Hunt won the match with a net of skimmers taken on the caster up on the far shelf for six lbs and two ounces.
Second was Graham Mytton (4.8.3), third was John Edgeley (3.6.) and fourth was Phil Seedhouse (2.0.0). Members return to the Jubilee Fishery on Sunday for the annual afternoon match with the draw at 1pm.
