A TEN-MILE Evesham Wheelers Club Time Trial took place on the K39/10T course where Ben Stockdale put in his usual quality performance to clock 21 minutes and 39 seconds.

Matt Ullmer came in second with 24.11 with Richard Gill third (24.15).

Other times: Tom Stockdale 24.34; Scott Law 25.09; Emma Gill 25.11; Richard Rhodes 26.58; Paul Stockdale 27.58.

Sunday's run had its eyes set on Shipston on Stour as the group made its way out of the Vale through Badsey, Bretforton , Blackminster, and Honeybourne.

With the wind at their backs, the peleton started to climb the northern slopes of the Cotswolds, passing through Lower Quinton and Admington.

The route into Shipston took in the pretty villages on Halford and Honington.

After coffee the dash back home was via Ilmington, Mickleton, Pebworth, Bretforton and Badsey with 50 miles covered.

This weekend's run is being taken by Norman Smith and will be to Ashleworth in Gloucestershire, not Malvern as advertised. It will be a longish run out of 35 miles with a return of 25, meet at 9.15am.
