THERE were mixed fortunes for Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League side Peopleton in their final two matches of the season.
Two first half goals saw them overcome Red Horse in their final first division match last Wednesday night to move off the foot of the table and leave Evesham WMC facing relegation.
However, it was a different tale in Sunday night's Evesham Hospital Junior Cup final when they lost heavily to Perrywood.
Local rivals Upton Snodsbury, meanwhile, completed a disappointing season in fine style by seeing off the Ambassador to win Sunday's Pershore Hospital Junior Cup.
After a goalless first half it was the Ambassador who broke the deadlock but goals from Goran Zujovic and Pete Croy saw the villagers celebrate.
