Robins set target for home joy
9:10am Thursday 18th October 2012 in Sport
EVESHAM United face four home games in a row as they bid to keep pace with the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West promotion-chasers.
The fifth-placed Robins host Winchester City on Saturday (3pm) and Didcot Town next Tuesday (7.45pm).
They then welcome Yate Town on October 27, in a game brought forward from December and Bridgwater Town the week after.
Assistant manager Rob Elmes said: “It’s a good opportunity to make a statement to the rest of the league because we feel we should be winning all of our home matches. We have set a target of 12 points out of 12.”
Captain Tesfa Robinson is due back after playing for St Kitts and Nevis at the Caribbean Cup.
- Evesham’s Matt Smith scored an injury-time equaliser as Oldham Athletic drew 1-1 at Sheffield United in npower League One.
