TWO Evesham Vale Running Club members completed an unusual 41-mile competition in Scotland.
Nicola and Kurt Dusterhoff travelled to Ayrshire for the annual River Ayr Way Challenge involving 89 runners on a cool, breezy day.
Finishing in Ayr, Kurt was 22nd in seven hours 15 minutes and Nicola, in her childhood hometown, completed her first ultramarathon in 9.05.
The club meet on Mondays at Falcon Bar, Waterside, at 7pm and welcome runners of all abilities.
