LITTLETON followed up a big mid-week victory with a hard-fought 2-2 draw at home to Bloxwich United.

They thrashed Castle Vale JKS 5-1 in the Midland Combination Premier Division last week with ex-Southam forward Oliver Manouchehri (2), Joe Lolley, Tim Beattie and Jamie Clarke scoring.

Against Bloxwich, a scrappy first-half saw Littleton go closest through Lolley and Manouchehri.

The visitors took a controversial lead five minutes into the second period when goalkeeper James Bishop was clattered and the ball ran loose for an easy tap-in.

The goal seemed to ignite the game and Littleton pressed hard, levelling on 74 minutes when Manouchehri drilled the ball home from just inside the box.

The same player put Littleton ahead 10 minutes later, heading in a Lolley cross from close range.

But Bloxwich went back on the attack and equalised with three minutes remaining through a superb shot from an acute angle.

Littleton then stormed to a 5-3 league win at Blackwood on Tuesday with Clarke (3) and Manouchehri (2) scoring.

They host Earlswood on Saturday (ko 3pm) before their derby at Pershore Town on Monday (3pm).
