A PACKED field turned out at Broadway for lady captain’s day with Christine Moulder greeting 70 golfers.
They contested an individual 18-hole stableford with nearest the pin on four holes.
Excellent scores came in with Liz Smith taking first place thanks to an impressive 38 points.
Rhiannon Gadsby-Evans was a close second with 36 on count-back ahead of Debra Stein.
Nearest the pin on the par threes were Gill Dunsby on the eighth and Pat Righton on the 13th.
On par fours, the victors were Stein on the second and Jenny Bruton on the 15th.
A further £159 was raised for the British Heart Foundation.
- NAUNTON Downs hosted a mini golf festival with 20 children involved.
The five to 14-year-olds had the opportunity to play various games which gave them a taste of the skills required for the sport.
Club professional Nick Ellis was on hand to help and encourage the youngsters and it is hoped some will be seen again at Naunton Downs in the future.
