CAPTAIN John Oliver played a starring role as Broadway gained revenge over Littleton with a 94-88 victory.
Oliver defeated Tony Guy 24-14 to tip the balance in the match and secure the overall six-shot success.
After 10 ends Littleton held a 13-shot advantage courtesy of Alan Cleaver leading Steve Aldren 15-3.
That gap became 20 shots after 15 ends as Cleaver increased his lead over Aldren to 14 shots and Graham Norledge went eight shots clear of Colin Cooper.
However, the match started to turn in Broadway’s favour when Andy Walters scored 11 shots without reply in the last six ends to beat Graham Corbett 26-10, offsetting Cleaver’s win over Aldren by the same score. Mark Rainbow lost to Mick Emms by one shot, while Colin Cooper lost 19-16 against Graham Norledge.
That left Littleton four shots to the good but Oliver’s triumph turned the tables.
