Bowbrook students hit fine form

A NUMBER of students from Peopleton’s Bowbrook House School excelled in the Midlands Independent Schools Association Championships at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham.

The festivities involved ISA schools from across the Midlands and, with up to 26 individuals in each event, competition was fierce and many meet records were broken as Bowbrook managed to bring back 12 medals.

Hannah Bilson and Elliot Styles won bronze medals in the 800 metres and 100m respectively. Jack Bates and Jessica Everitt each received silver medals for their performances and Fraser Hunt of year 10 managed to win two silver medals in the high jump and 400m.

Emily Allen won silver and bronze in the 100m and 200m sprints, Harry Sykes took gold in the 800m and Isabelle Dyer captured bronze in the long jump and 100m gold.
