EVESHAM AND DISTRICT LEAGUE

IN the final round of the Evesham and District Skittles League Champion of Champions event, the Nomads defeated the Patriots by 35 pins.

Played at Bengeworth Sports and Social Club, Patriots won the first leg 73- 67 but the Nomads soon took control.

Sam and Anna Di Marco scored a 12 and 10 spare at the start of the final leg but could not prevent it ending 74-74.

The league’s presentation night will be held at Wickhamford Sports Club on Friday, July 6, and the new season starts the week commencing September 3.
