BROADWAY LADIES

VERONICA Rudd and Pat Kent won the Peugeot LGU Coronation Foursomes at Broadway Golf Club.

Their score of 36 points was five clear of runners-up Sue Barker and Annabelle Guyver.

The top 100 pairs nationally will go on to represent their club at a course of their choice later in the year.

EVESHAM SENIORS

EVESHAM Seniors defeated Puckrup Hall 5-1 in their latest pairs match.

Results: Mike Abraham and Ray Smart won 5&3; Mike Whiteford and Bryan Rogers won 6&4; Geoff Burton and Mike Brumage lost 3&2; Peter Edmunds and Richard Saville won 3&2; Neil Croft and Martin Williams won 2&1; Ian Facer and Peter Ratledge won 3&2.

THE VALE CLUB LADIES

THE three-ball alliance competition the Vale, reduced to nine holes because of the rain, was won by Kathy Cowell, Janice Brown and Sandie Seager.

Their score of 35 points was two ahead of runners-up Shelagh Inglis, Imelda Stapleton and Judy Lacey, with Lyn Robinson, Kath Hudders and Julie Newman finishing in third place with 32 on count-back.
