TEENAGER Matt Morrow was Beckford’s hero in their nail-biting win over East Glos in the play-off for the Gloucestershire Aegon Team tennis title.

Morrow, 15, won his tie-break 10-8 against Glen Flindell to take his team through to the regional play-offs.

The victory was all the more remarkable because in the first round of the singles Morrow had been hammered 6-0, 6-1 by the same player but showed his temperament to win the tie-break.
