STRIKER Kevin Slack has left Evesham United to return to Bishop’s Cleeve.
Slack joined the Robins from Chippenham Town last season as manager Paul West looked to solve his side’s lack of firepower in front of goal.
The Robins scored just 48 goals en route to their highest ever finish, ninth in the Southern League Premier Division.
West has secured the majority of his squad for the new campaign but will be on the look out to replace Slack, now in his fourth spell at Bishop’s Cleeve.
Paul Collicutt, boss at the Division One South and West outfit, said: “It’s difficult to find a striker who will get you 15, 20 or even 25 goals a season but he’s got a great record.
“He’s had a kid so he’s got responsibilities now and he wants to settle down so we’re happy to have him on board.”
Evesham’s fixtures for the newly-named Zamaretto League are due to be released on Tuesday, July 14.
