GOALKEEPER Sam Gilder is on the verge of joining Worcester City and could be part of tomorrow’s squad to face Dunkirk (3pm).
The Bishop’s Cleeve custodian has been on City’s radar since the summer but the move got put on hold while he recovered from appendicitis.
Terms have been agreed with the ex-Evesham United stopper and should the paperwork be completed in time, he will come into contention with dual-registered Dan Jezeph recalled by National North Tamworth for one match this weekend.
Fellow stopper Matt Gwynne has featured three times for City this season before Jezeph's recall for the past four matches.
