PERSHORE Phoenix Dragonboat Club held a have-a-go session at Hampton Ferry, Evesham.
People came along to paddle on the River Avon in fine weather and many from the junior park run also got involved.
Phoenix members also joined up with Evesham Town Council to help clean up the riverside with a litter pick.
Anyone who missed the day is welcome to come along to Arden Sailing Club to join in sessions.
The club's next league race is in London on September 1.
They have three Great Britain squad members at the European Championships in Germany from August 23 until 26.
