BOURTON Roadrunners juniors' England international Kiya Dee won the girls' under 15s section at the village's annual one-mile race. 

The competition incorporated the Gloucestershire championships with the young runners joining the adults.

Dee became county champion in five minutes 30 seconds.

Her sister Taya pushed her hard to collect the silver medal in 5.47 and Helena West claimed bronze in 6.08.

Isobel Dennett was sixth in 6.32, Isobel Barnett seventh in 6.41 and Annabella Williams eighth in 6.59.

For the boys' under 15s, Kian Dee won bronze in 6.03 while Jonathon Cook was fifth in 6.29 and Will Kenyon sixth in 6.35.

Abigail Barnett won the fun run in 6.34 with Ella Grey second in 6.37 and Ella Lane Gregory clocking 7.40, Ellen Montilla 9.23 and Eleanor Jones 10.15.

Wilf Harrison was fourth boy in 6.31 with Edward Jones fifth in 6.33 while Alfie Samson did 7.06, William Chalmers 7.13, Freddie Samson 7.28 and Daniel Brett 9.23.
