THE final week of the Men’s Wildmoor Tennis League confirmed all the division champions plus the promoted and relegated teams.
Runners-up Chipping Campden only just held their Premier Division position on sets difference when opponents Ardencote Manor forced a 2-2 draw.
George Richards and Tobias Kemp went down to Ben Summers and Jack Smith 4-6, 2-6 but bounced back to beat John Brain and Matt Smith 6-4, 3-6, 1-0.
Geoff Vaughan and James Hudson saw off Brain and Smith 6-4, 6-2 but lost to Summers and Smith 1-6, 1-6.
Fourth-placed Pershore easily beat relegated Redditch 4-0.
Jon Guppy and Sean Randle defeated Lubo Smoliar and Andrew Hanson 6-1, 6-3 and Darren Shennan and Will Hanson 6-0, 6-0.
Steve Bauer and Bradley Smith beat Shennan and Hanson 6-0, 6-0 and Smoliar and Hanson 6-0, 6-2.
Division One champions Littleton lost their last match 3-1 to relegated Inkberrow.
Evesham gained promotion despite a 2-2 draw with fourth-placed Stratford B.
Third place went to Moreton-in-Marsh when they beat relegated Ardencote Manor B 3-1.
Division Two saw runners-up Shipston beat relegated Inkberrow B 4-0.
Chipping Campden B doomed FISSC to the drop by a solitary point after a 2-2 draw.
Pershore B squeezed out Warwick to claim the Division Three title by only a few sets difference after seeing off bottom side Redditch C 4-0.
Bidford A were 13 points adrift in third despite a late 4-0 thrashing by fourth-placed Snitterfield B.
Redditch B beat relegated Inkberrow C 3-1.
Division Four champions Shipston B ended with an easy 4-0 crushing of relegated Claverdon C.
Evesham B, three points behind the winners, celebrated promotion with a 4-0 victory which condemned Tysoe to the drop.
Aston Cantlow avoided going down with a 2-2 draw against third-placed Chipping Campden C.
Mid-table teams Wildmoor A beat Bidford B 4-0.
Moreton-in-Marsh B claimed the second promotion place in Division Five through a 2-2 draw with Wildmoor B.
Inkberrow D could not field a team against Moreton-in-Marsh C so lost 4-0.
