EVESHAM motorcycle racing team Jones Dorling Racing's Cameron Fraser earned National Superstock Series 600 points at Knockhill, Scotland.
Ashley Beech had a frustrating time on the BMW 1000, struggling with power and traction control.
The crew worked hard through the night to fit a new engine but it then looked like an electrical issue and Beech had to retire from the weekend's racing.
On Yamaha 600s, Fraser and Ewan Potter qualified 22nd and 26th respectively in qualifying after the former had an unfortunate high side in practice but emerged unscathed.
In the competitive 29-rider race, Fraser fell back to 26th but recovered to 18th and Potter moved up to 19th.
They then put in their fastest laps with Potter eventually finishing 19th and Fraser crossing in 15th for championship points.
Team owner Chris Jones said: "I am really pleased with both Fraser's and Potter's performances.
"They are learning and improving round on round.
"Beech’s bike will be sent off to BMW upon our return to investigate the issues and put a fix in place so we are ready to compete at Brands Hatch (this weekend)."
