MORE than 120 people completed Bourton Roadrunners’ testing hilly half-marathon on Saturday.
The overall winner was John Parker from Cheltenham and County Harriers in one hour 16 minutes 42 seconds followed by Kieron Summers of Weston AC in 1.19.00.
Bourton’s Tim Carter ran well to pick up third place in 1.20.05.
The women’s race was won by Shona Crombie-Hicks, now running for Tewkesbury, in 1.28.15.
Kate Krzywiec from North Cotswold Tri and Run was second in 1.30.57 and Fee Maycock of Cheltenham and County Harriers third in 1.33.05.
With most Roadrunners busy marshalling and helping, only one other club member ran.
Tom Hill, in his first half marathon for Bourton, clocked 2.01.04.
