BROADWAY'S Martyn Freeman Trophy individual stableford attracted 110 members from all playing sections.

Steve Griffin took advantage of the favourable conditions to win with 41 points.

Charlie Nettell edged out Ben Ross for second on countback with both on 40.

Irene Hawkes was the ladies' winner with 34 in front of Francis Friend on 33 and Barb Buggin on 32.

Max Carter took the junior victory with 50 from Ambrose Eaves on 46 and Jackson Wohahn-Parker on 41.

Hawkes is also chairman of Campden Area Home Nursing which is the charity the Freeman family chose to benefit from entry proceeds and donations.

Forty-six ladies competed in their England Golf Trust stableford.

Christine Saunders won with 40 points in the Silver Division from Elaine Hickin on 39 and Barbara Bate on 35.

Ladies' vice-captain Hawkes took the Bronze Division with 39 ahead of Esther Pettitt on 38 and Trish Gould on 37.
