THE entire McDonald's Worcester and District Sunday League football programme has been postponed this weekend due to the snow and frozen conditions.

Worcester City's Midland League Premier Division clash with Long Eaton United at the Victoria Ground was called off early on Friday evening.

Bromsgrove Sporting's visit to Rocester, Westfields' home clash with Shepshed Dynamo and Stourport Swifts' fixture with Rugby Town at Walshes Meadow followed suit. 

Kidderminster Harriers' National League North game with York City at Aggborough was called off on Thursday and rearranged for Tuesday, March 13.

Hereford FC's Southern League Premier Division trip to Hitchin Town on Saturday has been postponed along with Evesham United's Division One West trip to Kidlington.

Redditch United hoped to host Royston Town on their artificial pitch but the weather has beaten them too.

Worcester Raiders' home game with Bustleholme in West Midlands League Division One at Claines Lane has fallen foul of the weather as has Malvern Town's derby at Hereford Lads Club in the Premier Division.

Bewdley Town v Wednesfield, Bilston Town Community v Wellington and Ellesmere Rangers v Pegasus Juniors are also off.

In Midland League Division One, Pershore Town's visit to Coventry Alvis and Littleton's home game with Hinckley AFC have also been postponed.

In Division Two, Northfield Town v Droitwich Spa followed.

In basketball, Worcester Wolves' BBL trip to Newcastle Eagles on Friday night was off.

All Worcester Rugby Club's games at Weston's Fields this weekend, including the derby with Hereford on Saturday, have been postponed.

Saturday evening's netball contest at the University of Worcester Arena was called off on the morning of the match as Surrey Storm were unable to travel to Severn Stars.

But Worcester Warriors' Aviva Premiership clash with Leicester Tigers at Sixways on Sunday (3pm) is set to go ahead.
