PEBWORTH moved back to the top of Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Three by piling on the misery for rock-bottom Fairfield Titans.

David Jeffrey (5), Tom Benfield (3), Matt Rose (3), Jake Edden, Fred Hopper and Liam Sadler registered strikes in a whopping 14-0 triumph that was replicated by Alderton against Bredon in Division Two.

Matt Greaves walloped home a pair of hat-tricks with Liam Pennell (2), Josh Allen (2), Rupert Kinder, Joe Tryner, Lee Bowles and David Ambridge also on the scoresheet for Alderton.

They remain top of Division Two but the rest of the chasing pack kept pace with the top four all winning on Sunday.

Broadway United reserves earned a 2-1 win over Charlton Fladbury, TDMS Harvington won 3-1 at Cropthorne and three second-half goals earned Bretforton Old Boys reserves a 6-3 triumph at Badsey Recreation.

Elsewhere in Division Three, Dragons got the better of Ambi Allsports 5-3 and Alcester Town played out a 1-1 draw with Strawberry Field United.

Bretforton’s senior side, which boasts a 100 per cent league record to date, needs just four points from its remaining five matches to retain the Division One crown after a 7-0 demolition of Broadway United. Will Gayton scored four.

Inkberrow drew 2-2 with Stour Excelsior, while holders Offenham Rovers moved into the last eight of the Mick Godwin Cup with a 4-3 victory over Mickleton Rangers.
