EVESHAM United’s pre-season friendly at Halesowen Town has been called off for health and safety reasons.
Paul Collicutt’s men were due to travel to The Grove on Saturday to face the Northern League Premier Division outfit.
However, delayed work on Halesowen’s pitchside fencing has caused the match to be postponed.
An Evesham spokesman said: “They are replacing perimeter fencing, but they were late starting and building work is going on.
“It would not be safe to play, so it has been called off.”
Unfortunately due to a delay in pitchside fencing we have had to cancel the game against Evesham at he Grove on Saturday
