THIRTY-two anglers fished a Midlands Air Ambulance charity match on the Jubilee and Withies pools in association with Worcester Angling Centre, the Stanley family and Evesham Jubilee.

Jubilee members were also fishing for the Keith Stanley memorial silver salver and the Worcester Angling Centre Charity Cup was presented to the overall winner.

Ian Pitman, of Jubilee, won the match from Jubilee peg 16 weighing in 52lb 6oz to win both trophies on offer.

The top weight on the Withies pool was Doug Smith on peg 27 with 25-14.

Section winners were Steve Foster (J19, 40-5). Gary Seadon (J8, 29-10), Janice Smith (J6, 24-6), John Cox (W22, 23-3), John Swain (W4, 20-7) and Rick Liddell (J23, 19-13).

After the match a barbecue and raffle followed where anglers and friends enjoyed the presentation of the prizes.

More than £600 was raised for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
