ABI Ingles celebrated a hat-trick of singles titles at Littleton Table Tennis Club's annual championships finals night.

She took part in five finals, winning the Terry Lown cadet girls' singles, Carole Sully junior girls' singles and Rob Sexton handicap singles.

Titles were also won by Amy Brotherton, Ben Fisher, Joe Cull, Luke Fisher, Alex Emms, Tony Spinks, Jack Witheford, Jamie Chinn-Brown, Rosie Phillpot, Duncan Arrandale, Sandra Jackson and Steve Cull.

Emms caused a major upset to seal a 3-2 win against higher-graded Andrew Taylor in the Dave Harvey intermediate singles.

He raced 6-0 ahead in the decider and triumphed 8-11, 11-5, 9-11, 11-5, 8-11.

Brotherton won 3-2 in a thrilling match against Emily Grove in the Chris McLean beginner girls' singles 9-11, 11-6, 11-7, 8-11, 11-6.

Ben Fisher was too strong for Daniel Yates, winning the GLB beginner boys' singles 11-7, 11-7, 7-11, 11-8.

Extra training allowed Joe Cull to overcome Harry Hawkins-Pitts, the reigning Worcestershire under 14s schoolboy champion, in the Spinks improvers singles 14-12, 11-9, 11-5.

Ingles pipped Anna Cole for the cadet girls' singles 13-11, 8-11, 11-5, 1-11, 7-11.

Luke Fisher was too strong for younger opponent Danny Norman 11-1, 11-1, 11-8 in the Karakel cadet boys' singles.

Ingles dominated the junior girls' singles against Megan Somerville, roaring home 3-0 12-10, 11-7, 11-4.

Spinks and Witheford defeated Ingles and the experienced John Taylor 11-9, 11-7, 11-6 in the Richard Lasota handicap drawn doubles.

Luke Fisher faced a sterner test in his second final against Chinn-Brown in the Abbey Hardware junior boys' singles.

Fisher took the first game before Chinn-Brown, who suffered disappointment in losing the 2016 final, stormed to the next three to win 9-11, 11-6, 13-11, 11-7.

Ingles beat Emms in the handicap singles 11-6, 7-11, 9-11, 11-2, 11-9 but lost 6-11, 6-11, 11-9, 11-9, 8-11 to Phillpot in the Cheapside Nearside women's singles.

Arrandale teamed up with Jackson to win the John Mckay mixed doubles 3-2 against Steve Cull and Phillpot 6-11, 11-7, 4-11, 11-9, 9-11.

Cull defeated Arrandale 3-2 in a skilful Ken Baker open singles encounter 9-11, 9-11, 11-7, 9-11.
