LEADERS Bredon Cricket Club romped to a 170-run home win against Enville in Worcestershire League Division Two.
Tim McVicker (68 not out), Martin Hill (64) and Charlie McVicker (62) powered Bredon to a commanding 279-6 from 50 overs.
Jamie Munro (22 not out), Clive Fenney (17) and Martyn Draper (10) also contributed for Bredon.
Tim Fenney (4-20), Alex Antonelli (3-15) and Kevin Wilkins (2-40) then combined to shoot out Enville for just 109. Bredon travel to mid-table Lye on Saturday (1pm).
Evesham remain second, 12 points adrift of Bredon, after a comfortable six-wicket home success against basement boys Harborne.
Despite 75 from Steve Richardson, James Crenan took 5-31 as Harborne posted 210-9.
Ali Asghar (60), Johnson Lourdhusamy (52) and Nasir Mehmood (39 not out) then steered Evesham home in 42.4 overs. Evesham visit Enville on Saturday (1pm).
